pumpkin treats for campingIt’s Fall in Arizona and even though some parts of the state are still quite warm that doesn’t mean we don’t love pumpkin flavored everything this month. There’s just something about pumpkin in the autumn months that makes people feel cozy.

And when it comes to camping treats for the family, there are some really delicious recipes you can make ahead and bring with you. This benefits you by saving you time cooking at the campsite and gives you plenty of snacks to have available for your hungry camping kids. Found some delicious recipes you might like to try.

Pumpkin Spice Latte Mug Cakes
These are fast to make and they are delicious. You can make individual servings which keeps things simple because you know it’s rare when everyone is hungry at the same time. To make this treat in a coffee mug. You’ll need some Bisquick mix, sugar, some coffee, melted butter, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and whipped cream and ground cinnamon for topping. You simply mixed this together and pour it into two microwavable motives and then microwave it for about two minutes. Then you can top up with the whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon and have a little bit of heaven as you sit around the campfire.

Mini Pumpkin Pies
These pumpkin pies are perfect because they are a sweet treat and finger food all rolled into one. You’ll use canned pumpkin, some Bisquick, sugar, evaporated milk, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, eggs, and Cool Whip. Once you blend us all together you ported muffin cups and bake. You can make these ahead and pop them in the freezer and bring them with you when you come camping.

Gluten-free Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
