Oatmeal for breakfastIf you’re the kind of person who enjoys a slow morning with a fresh cup of coffee while listening to the world wake up – but you have a camping crowd to feed – you’ll enjoy some easy breakfasts. There are lots of ways you can provide a great breakfast for the family and not have to spend your morning cooking.

Overnight Oats – You can make these up the night before and then the kids can grab them as they wake up and are ready to eat. You can use canning jars or even plastic cups, if you don’t want to use glass. Put oatmeal in the cup and add your favorite treats. You can put berries, banana, peaches, nuts, cinnamon, honey, and justs about anything else that suits your fancy. Add milk and stir. Put the containers in the fridge and they’ll be ready when your family is.

Granola Parfaits – Most campers will love this. You can put a large container of yogurt on the table along with cut up fruit and a bowl of granola. Your campers can make their own when they get hungry. They can layer each item in a cup and top it off with a sprinkling of cinnamon or a drizzle of honey. You can enjoy your coffee and they can make their own breakfast.

Breakfast Ham & Cheese Triangles – You can make these at dinner the night before. Cook up a bunch of grilled ham & cheese sandwiches, cut them in triangles, stack them on a plate, and put them in the fridge. In the morning, pull them out of the fridge and leave them out for the crew. They can warm them in the microwave or over the campfire if they want but you may find they enjoy them just they way they are.

We hope you enjoy your mornings waking up in one of our member RV resorts or campgrounds. It’s one of the most beautiful times of day.
