Arizona ARVC To Hold Its Spring Convention and Tradeshow On April 26

ARVC will also offer an optional class on NFPA 1194 Certification on April 25

 

The Arizona Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (Arizona ARVC) will hold its Spring Convention Thursday, April 26, at the Vee Quiva Resort & Casino in Laveen, Arizona.

The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) will offer an optional class on NFPA 1194 Certification at the same location from 8am – 5pm, Wednesday, April 25, for a separate fee.

The NFPA 1194 Certification Class is designed to ensure that park owners and operators have an in-depth knowledge of the current public safety standards for RV parks and campgrounds as best practices and resources to use when dealing with regulatory agencies.

The NFPA 1194 Certification Class will be followed by a poolside cracker-barrel session for park operators, which will be moderated by Harvey Mickelson of Arizona ARVC.

Arizona ARVC’s April 26 convention will start with breakfast and will be followed by a seminar by Roxi Baxley of Port Angeles, Wash. – based Strait Web Solutions titled, “What Could Go Wrong?”

John Sheedy of San Diego, Calif – based Park Brokerage, Inc. will provide a seminar on buying and selling an RV park.

Melissa Parham of Williams, Zinman & Parham, P.C. in Scottsdale will provide an update on current legislative issues affecting Arizona park operators.

Lunch will be followed by the association’s annual meeting and awards presentations.
