ARIZONA CAMPING GUIDE WINS ARVC’S DIRECTORY OF THE YEAR AWARD

PHOENIX, Ariz., Nov. 18, 2016 — The 2016 Arizona RV and Camping Guide won the State Directory of the Year Award from the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC).

It was the first time the Arizona Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (Arizona ARVC) received the award, which the association won in the medium size state category.

The award was presented to Arizona ARVC President Scott Swanson and Executive Director Jo Ann Mickelson last week during ARVC’s Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo in Fort Worth, Texas.

The 32-page color guide, designed and produced for the first time by Crowley, Texas-based Texas Advertising, incorporates many new features, including a travel planning map. It also contains detailed descriptions of more than 90 amazing Arizona parks.

In addition to being available at Arizona ARVC member parks, the free camping guide is distributed through chambers of commerce, visitor centers and RV shows, including the annual Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show, which is scheduled for Jan. 21 – 29 in Quartzsite, Ariz.

The guide is also available in digital format on GoCampingInArizona.com, the association’s travel planning website, and can also be ordered by emailing a request to arizonaarvc@aol.com.
